/Season 21/22 Finally gets underway
The Victorian Premier’s announcement last Sunday has cleared the way for HRC to reopen the clubhouse from 6pm this Friday night and for all fully -vaxed members aged 16+ to get back into season training. (Covid settings do not apply to U16yrs). <Click Here Latest HRC Covid Settings>
We will recommence club programs within the first week of November including Junior Development & Rowing Development programs and the training and fleet booking systems will reflect the expanded covid safe settings and clubhouse density limits.
The Victorian regatta season is finally about to start. The Rowing Victoria Regatta Program is available <HERE>.
The First regatta for HRC will be The Melbourne Head on Saturday November 20th. As entries may be limited, we will need to get HRC crews in early to reserve your places. Please start thinking about your crew combinations, or let me know if you’d like assistance in finding a crew to row in. Email HRC Captain. Rowing Development sessions , for those interested in competing, will recommence on Thursday November 4th at 6.00pm. I’d also like to get a male and Female Eight on the water on Sunday November 7th as the start of our sweep squad training.
We have a long break and plenty of time to prepare before our second Regatta which will be the Murray Rowing Association 2 day series on January 15th and 16th. If you are attending this regatta consider booking some accommodation on Friday 14th - Sat 15th January in the Rutherglen/Corowa Winery region.
