The following content is aimed at providing members with some understanding of the muscles that stabilise the trunk and to identify exercises that develop core stability and support of the spine. At HRC we have a high number of masters members. As we age it becomes more important to be cognisant of the possible injuries associated with rowing. It is also important to plan strength and flexibility exercises as part of your training program.
