Safety and Courtesy to fellow members
When using club equipment please be mindful of returning all boats & oars to their designated racks with equipment left in good repair and as you found it, ready for use by the next crew. No club oar sets or boats are to have settings changed without first seeking permission from Captain or Vice Captain. If you want personal settings on equipment either purchase your own or seek to have a boat or set of oars dedicated to your training race crews by the Captain. Too often crews are finding oar sleeve lengths, buttons or gate-height settings have been randomly changed which compromises their row.
Club Speed Boat Use. Club Speedboats are an important part of coaching and safety equipment. Recently with all good intentions, they have been used for river cleanup duties. This however has caused some damage of steering cables and compromised training programs. For this reason please note that club speedboats are only to be used for coaching or on-water safety during rowing programs.
