Maiden Win for FMNov4+ -Carrum Masters
FMNov 4x+ Emma Vibert, Julie Crosthwaite, Bindi Keldsen, Rahaf Sabbagh, Cox: John Lake
Hawthorn members have participated in two regattas since the March 27th update.
Mildura/Wentworth
Congratulations to Alastair Isherwood and Katelyn Johnson on their four wins over Easter at the Mildura /Wentworth regattas. Katelyn had a win in the FD1x and Alastair snared 3 wins in the MO1x both days and the MM1X.
Carrum Masters
A contingent of 32 Members represented Hawthorn last weekend on the Barwon at the Carrum Masters Regatta.
Hawthorn recorded three wins :
MM2- Shane O’Conner-Smith and Conrad Tullock,
FM4x+ Ruth Oliver, Eve Wiliamson, Dominique Horne and Robyn Blake coxed by Isabelle Rochford
FMNov4x+ Bindi, Rahaf, Julie and Emma, Coxed by John Lake.
Yarra bank works restricting HRC Carpark access.
Two separate public works programs are restricting daytime access to the front of the sheds. Council has advised of works to the Yarrbank Reserve playground <Council Notification> and Works have commenced on the underside of the Hawthorn Bridge . River access beneath the bridge has been halved during the works. < Attached flyer > explains the works

River Safety.
With the change of season comes the need to use boat lights before dawn and after dusk on all Hawthorn fleet. No Boats are to be used without proper lighting as outlined below.
AlbertPark Masters Regatta - April 24th
Call for entries for Albert Park Masters Regatta on Saturday 24th. Captain is placing entries by 1pm Monday .
