Rowing Development Sessions to Continue.

Due to high levels of participation, the three club-funded Rowing Development coaching sessions per week will continue till Xmas. (Wed am, Thurs pm, Sun am).

Please ensure you book attendance 12 hours in advance to enable Luciano to organise you into a crew. We have an on-line booking/confirmation system on the HRC Website. It can be accessed <HERE>
 

Pleasant Sunday Social at HRC.

Save the date, Sunday November 10th, 4pm - 6pm

Drinks at bar prices at HRC.

We would like all active club rowers to attend a casual briefing session which will include training tips and information on boat & water safety. It will run for 30 minutes followed by drinks and a chance to catch up with other HRC members.

We welcome any savoury plates and your family and partners are welcome to attend, this off-water informative low key social activity.

Head Of The Goulburn - Sat 26 Oct

Next weekend a squad of 21members in four Quads, plus a Male single will represent Hawthorn at the Head of The Goulburn - a 7.2km head race which finishes at the Tabilk winery. <HOTG ENTRIES>

Melbourne Head -Sat 23 Nov.

We have four weeks off from competition after next weekend, to prepare for the Melbourne Head across a range of boat classes on the Yarra on Saturday November 23rd <Melb Head Event Details>
 

REGATTA NEWS

Recent regattas Hawthorn members have competed in include the RFDS Marathon <RFDS RESULTS> The Head of The Mitchell, <HOTM RESULTS> The Head of the Brisbane <HOTB RESULTS> and the Bendigo Sprints Regatta <BENDIGO RESULTS>.

Participation levels are strong with 32 club members braving the icy winds at Lake Weeroona in Bendigo last weekend, and another 5 members rowing in a composite eight in Brisbane.

Currently overt 40 members this season have actively participated for Hawthorn in competition.
